Earlier today, it was made official that people would be able to start a campfire in almost every area of British Columbia.
The Campfire Bans that had been effect since Canada day, were finally lifted for the residents of the Kamloops Fire Centre and as well as the Boundary region in the Southeast Fire Centre.
The rest of the Southeast fire Centre already had the ban lifted earlier, along with the Cariboo, Northwest, Coastal and Prince George fire centres.
Currently, the only regions that is still under this campfire restriction is the southern part of Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands, as they are still dealing with very dry conditions.
