With the Union of BC Municipalities annual convention set to begin tomorrow, the Cariboo Regional district has tabled two motions.
Resolution EB47 asks the Union to lobby with the province to invest in the infrastructure needed to bring better internet to the North.
Resolution NR9 looks to remove legal and financial risks incurred from supports offered to Independent local fire services by the province.
The CRD`s broadband report, which identified that more than 50% of Cariboo residents have what is considered `poor connectivity`, will also be front and centre.
