Struggling Indigenous Journalism Students in BC can now apply for some financial relief.
Thanks to support from the BC Teacher`s federation, the Jack Webster Foundation will be granting awards to up to three students.
Each student will be eligible to receive up to two thousand dollars, so long as they meet the other requirements.
In order to qualify you must be: a resident of BC who identifies as Indigenous, and be enrolled full time in a full time journalism program at a recognised BC school.
Those who already possess a postsecondary degree which fits the above qualifications can also apply.
