Yet another big event in the City of Quesnel has been cancelled due to issues involving COVID-19.
This time, it was the Quesnel Fall Fair announcing yesterday on the Quesnel Agriculture and Exhibition Association’s Facebook page that they were cancelling this year’s event due to increasing COVID cases in the city.
The Fall Fair has now joined both the city’s Let’s Connect! Tour and a Pancake Breakfast for the Quesnel and District Seniors’ Centre in the category of recent Quesnel events to be cancelled, and that’s without mentioning that the Barkerville Historic Town and Park are ending their programing a week early, also due to COVID.
The Fair also made sure to announce that all vendor fees should be returned by this Friday.
