BC residents required to have Winter Tires installed by October 1st

British Columbians planning on driving this winter should book an appointment before auto-shops fill up.

The official deadline for BC residents to install their winter tires is next Friday October 1^st.

Either winter tires or chains, for larger vehicles, are required for vehicles on most northern routes in BC until the end of April.
