Near-record levels of rainfall across the coast last month led to some pretty drastic flooding.
In Prince Rupert, that flooding has extended to the Lester Centre of the Arts.
It was reported at a Council meeting this week that a clogged storm drain caused the damages, which are still being fully assessed.
According to the City, the drain will be reinforced during repairs to prevent the same situation from occurring in the future.
The City is looking at better ways to utilize their allotted budget to decrease flooding risks next rainy season.
