In light of two active outbreaks at the hospital, the University Hospital of Northern BC will go back in to full Covid protocol.
Over the past few weeks, Northern Health has declared unrelated outbreaks in both the Internal Medical Unit, and the Primary Care Medical unit.
While enhanced Covid measures are already in place at those units, they will now span the whole hospital.
That means that, effective immediately, only essential visitors will be allowed in to the facility.
Full mask protocols, physical distancing, occupancy limits, and screening are all back in place at the Prince George based hospital.
