A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the West Moberly First Nation, and multi-national research centre IC-IMPACTS.
IC-IMPACTS is an institute dedicated to the development of scientific collaboration between Canada and India.
West Moberly hopes to work together with the Centre to develop and implement community-based solutions to issues such as water management, sustainable infrastructure, public health, and food security.
The memorandum of understanding was signed during a ceremony at the University of BC, whose Vancouver campus currently plays host to the Centre in Canada.
