Quesnel RCMP have arrested a suspect in relation to an assault from last week which left one man in critical condition.
Last Thursday, police were called to the 100 block of Carsen Avenue at around 9:15 at night for reports of the assault.
A 36 year-old man had been left outside the nearby Season’s House emergency shelter suffering from potentially life-threatening injuries.
He was transferred to a local hospital, but has since been transferred once more to a larger facility.
Now, police have arrested a 28 year-old Quesnel resident who they believe to be responsible.
They are not releasing the suspect’s name at this time, though he will appear in court next April.
The victim remains in hospital in serious, but stable condition.
