I had the chance to sit down with Raven Hillenbrand. Raven is a red seal plumber steamfitter and certified gas B fitter and she currently lives in Surrey BC but she is from the community Kitkatla, British Columbia. Raven is a member of the UAP Local 170. She considers her local 170 her family. Her children watched her work her way into a male dominated trade and isn’t now an instructor for the UA piping industry College of BC for aspiring trades people. Let’s have a listen to what Raven has to tell us here on Journeys.
