RCMP in Dease Lake are renewing calls for public assistance to locate a missing man.
42 year-old Joseph Thomas Chief was last seen walking alongside two dogs on Highway 37, near Boya Lake, at around 8:30 in the evening on June 14th.
He was reported missing the following day, and a call for public assistance was put out on June 17th, to no avail.
Chief is a 42 year-old Indigenous man, who was last seen wearing a blue sweater and sweat pants, and may be headed to the Yukon.
RCMP are asking anyone with dashcam footage of the area around the time of his disappearance to come forward.
