Update (2:00 pm):
A quick response and smart approach by the Prince Rupert Fire Department had a blaze which sparked at the West End Restaurant out within minutes of arrival.
Crews were first called out to the restaurant on 3 Avenue West at 9:15 this morning, and noticed heavy smoke from the front and roof of the building.
