After the Quesnel Crime Reduction Unit acted on search warrants for three houses, they discovered quite a few illegal items.
Back on August 27th, the unit brought their latest drug trafficking investigation to a close after executing search warrants for properties on Ash Avenue, Eagle Road, and Pollard Road.
In the houses, they found a combination of just under five kilograms of cocaine, 15 firearms and $92,900 in cash.
Five male suspects were also arrested after the searches were complete.
All of the suspects got released from custody with charges of possession of proceeds of crime, possession for the purpose of trafficking as well as firearm related charges being forwarded to the Public Prosecution Service for assessment.
