Covid cases and hospitalizations in the province continue to drop, including the North, according to the CDC’s weekly report.
Between August 21st and the 27th, a total of 651 new cases were reported province-wide, down from 737 the week before.
Over the same period, there were 160 new hospitalizations, down from 213, with 25 ICU admissions, down from 42, and 33 deaths within 30 days of testing positive.
Northern Health reported 34 new cases, 9 less than the week before and dropped from 11 to 8 hospitalizations last week and no ICU admissions.
Terrace saw only 3 new cases last week, while Haida Gwaii saw 4, Prince Rupert had none, the Upper Skeena also reported none and Smithers joined them with no new cases.
