When it comes to wildfires that are taking place in the Northwest Fire Centre, the conditions of the Centre as well as the number of fires has remained virtually the exact same as it was before the long weekend.
The number of fires currently burning in the Centre is still at 11 and there is now only 1 fire that are listed as out of control.
Two small lightning caused fires are burning south of Tesla Lake, near Tweedsmuir Provincial Park, while five more are burning just north of there near Watuk Lake, Pondosy Bay, and the Nechako Reservoir near Tahtsa Lake and nearly all of those fires are now either under control or being held.
The only fire in that vicinity that is still listed as out of control is the one near Cummin Creek and it still covers 330 hectares.
The other fire in centre that was recently listed as out of control, the one north of Blue River, is listed as being held.
