Covid cases across the province continued to drop last week, despite a slight uptick in case totals in the North, according to the CDC’s weekly report.
Between August 28th and September 3rd, the province saw a total of 617 new cases reported, down from 651 the week before.
Reported hospitalizations dropped from 198 to 147 last week, with 25 ICU admissions, and 22 deaths within 30 days of testing positive.
Northern Health saw 37 new cases, up from 34 the week before, with hospitalizations up to 11 from 9, 2 ICU admissions, and one death.
Terrace led the Northwest with 6 new cases, Haida Gwaii saw 4, Smithers 2, with the remaining Local Health Areas in the Northwest reporting no new cases.
