Protests were held outside a Kitimat elementary school last week as parents challenged a semi recent hiring by the District.
Their complaints surround the hiring of a man accused of inappropriately touching children at the Haisla Community School in 2019.
Those accusations were initially brought forward by Richard Pollard, the organizer of the protests which began at Nechako Elementary School on Wednesday.
An investigation was launched following the allegations, but brought forward no charges from the Prosecution Service.
While no charges were pressed, the man did leave the school later that year, but was allegedly hired by School District 82 to work at Nechako Elementary.
Pollard had a conversation with Superintendent Aaron Callaghan, later expressing pleasure on how he was attempting to deal with the situation.
According to Pollard, after the protests took place, the accused man was allegedly placed on some type of leave by the school.
