Riders in the 21st annual Cops for Cancer Tour de North end their 7 day trip across Northeast BC in Williams Lake today.
Each year, the Tour sees law enforcement professionals hop on their bicycles and visit multiple communities to raise money for child cancer research and family support.
This year’s event saw riders begin their journey in Dawson Creek last Wednesday, with the goal of raising $150,000.
After making stops in Fort St John, Chetwynd, Prince George, Mackenzie, and Quesnel, they now sit inches away from surpassing that goal.
Today, riders are making their way to Williams Lake for the final stretch of the Tour, where they will be met with a welcome event in the Canadian Tire parking lot at 5:00.
