Yesterday, an estimated 3.4 magnitude earthquake took place not far outside of Prince George.
Initial reports listed the quake at 4.1 but it was re-measured and confirmed to be 3.4 instead by Earthquakes Canada.
The earthquake took place at around 3:07 yesterday afternoon and it was felt in Prince George as well as Salmon Valley, Buckhorn and other areas.
Earthquakes Canada has said that the quake took place 32 kilometres southwest of the city at a depth of five kilometres.
Luckily, there were no damages or injuries reported as a result of the quake.
