Riders in the 21st Cops for Cancer Tour de North can rest easy after 7 days on the road, knowing they surpassed their fundraising goal.
Each year, Cops for Cancer hosts a number of bicycling tours across BC to raise funds for child cancer research and family supports.
This year, 14 community, law enforcement, and emergency services members completed the 850 kilometre trip beginning in Dawson Creek.
After a number of stops along the way, participants ended their journey in Williams Lake on Tuesday.
In total, the Tour raised just under $151,000 this year, surpassing their goal by about $1,000.
