Back on September 7th just after 4 in the afternoon, Prince George RCMP officers got a report of a vehicle theft that had just happened right before the report was sent in.
This theft happened in the area of 5th Avenue and Brunswick Street where the victim reportedly stepped out of his car for a second before a woman got in the driver’s seat and drove off in the Blue Ford Ranger.
Police were able to swarm the area and locate the suspect and the stolen vehicle quickly and the female suspect was arrested without incident.
She was identified as 39-year-old Leslie Marcia Odiorne, who was previously known to Police for previous charges.
The B.C. Prosecution Service has approved charges of Robbery, Failure to comply with a release order and Assault with a weapon against Odiorne, who will remain in custody until her next court appearance.
