Over a three-day period towards the end of last week, the Prince George RCMP worked with the Loss Prevention Officers at Pine Center mall for the 6th Boost and Bust project, which saw both parties target prolific shoplifters.
Between September 16th and 18th, 32 people at the mall were arrested for offenses such as resisting arrest, failing to comply with court ordered conditions and theft.
In addition to those arrests, three more people were taken into custody for outstanding arrest warrants.
A majority of the individuals that were arrested had already been known to Police for similar offences and more than one of the arrested were not supposed to be at the mall.
In total, the value of the recovered items was around $4500.
However, each suspect was released with new court dates and each investigation into these suspects is still ongoing.
