Ottawa is dropping all Covid-19 border measures as of Saturday, meaning travellers will be able to come and go, regardless of vaccination status.
Not only will travellers in and out of the country no longer need to provide proof of vaccination, but all mandatory masking requirements will also be dropped.
In addition: pre and post travel testing will be discontinued, as will quarantine and isolation requirements and symptom reporting, and use of the ArriveCan App will become optional.
But, Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos is stressing that this doesn’t mean Covid is over, just that travel was no longer impacting the introduction of new variants to the country.
