In recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30th, we are proud to partner with the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund for A Day to Listen 2022.
This year, it’s about hope and resilience, as we amplify Indigenous voices on topics like cultural reclamation, language resurgence, reconnecting with the land, and Indigenous art. Listen with your hosts, Juno award-winning artists William Prince and Celeigh Cardinal Friday from 6am-6pm.
Together, we’ll acknowledge the past and work on a better future for Indigenous people in this country. It all starts with LISTENING, and amplifying Indigenous voices, especially in spaces we don’t always hear them.
This Friday, we’re handing the station over to some incredible Indigenous voices for A Day to Listen honouring the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation in partnership with the Gord Downie and Chanie Wenjack Fund.
To mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we’re amplifying Indigenous voices to inspire future generations. You’ll hear guests speak about reclaiming culture and language, reconnecting with the land, and creating literature, film and music. Join us for A Day to Listen 2022, a great place to start taking RECONCILI-ACTION.
