As part of following up a Housing Action Plan adopted last year, the City of Prince Rupert has issued a request for expressions of interest to develop a short-list of interested parties in providing community housing development for the city.
With opportunities to get funding from the Federal Rapid Housing Initiative coming up soon, Prince Rupert is looking to find potential partners that can move as quickly as possible if the municipality is successful in getting grant funding.
Housing is very much needed in Prince Rupert but to address this need, the city will also be undertaking a Housing Needs Assessment to determine what type of housing should be selected for development.
Their request has been posted to BC Bid, and expressions are due by 2 in the afternoon on October 26th.
