Meet-and-Greet With Terrace Council Candidates Being Held Next Week

Terrace residents will have an opportunity to ask questions of and meet this year’s City Council candidates next week, as election day looms.

A meet-and-greet with all 15 candidates is being hosted by the Chamber of Commerce at the Legion on October 12th, from 6:00 to 9:00 at night.

Those 15 candidates are vying to fill 6 council seats, while the mayoral race ended before it began, with Sean Bujtas running unopposed.

Among those are four incumbent councillors, Brian Downie, Lynne Christiensen, James Cordeiro, and Dave Gordon.

Also in the race are: Chris Apps, Inder Dhillon, MaryAnn Freeman, Martin Holzbauer, Melissa Linn, Peter Moloney, Yvonne Nielson, Danny Nunes, Lynne Parker, Keenan Stella, and Sarah Zimmerman.

This year’s municipal elections will take place on October 15th, with one more advanced voting opportunity available, also on October 12th.
