Indigenous storytellers from across the province are being invited to apply to become the Vancouver Public Library’s next Indigenous Storyteller in Residence.
Created in 2008, the program seeks to honour Indigenous cultures, and promote intercultural understanding and communication.
According to the Library, the program is essential in helping them to decolonize their practices, and promote Indigenous knowledge systems.
Those wishing to share their knowledge, craft, and cultural history can apply through this link.
Applications are being accepted through November 13th.
