Earlier today, Northern Health released an update for November on how the construction of the new Mills Memorial Hospital was progressing.
The main points regarding construction that were highlighted included the two tower cranes being removed, the total number of workers on site increasing quite a bit and that they were preparing for the fast approaching winter by working more inside the complex.
Other major points of the report mentioned that the new Seven Sisters regional mental-health facility has begun construction and is expected to be done by the end of next year and that the Sleeping Beauty facility, which had been used in many different ways in it’s long lifetime, had finally been demolished.
The report also talked about their plans to hire staff and gave some info about their new Transition Coordinator.
