While most sections of the province are returning to regular winter temperatures, some residents along the North Coast are not so lucky.
Environment Canada is maintaining an arctic outflow warning for inland sections of the North Coast, including Terrace and Kitimat.
Temperatures are expected to dip below -20 after windchill through this afternoon, but are expected to warm up for tomorrow.
With strong winds also in the forecast, that means the risks of hypothermia and frostbite are significantly elevated.
Exposed human skin can catch frostbite in as few as 15 minutes with temperatures that low.
