Houston is under an air quality advisory.
Northern Health and the environment ministry issued the advisory this (Wednesday) morning due to high levels of fine particulate.
Exposure to fine particulates is a particular concern for infants, the elderly, and those with chronic health conditions like diabetes, lung, or heart disease.
Woodstove use is banned during air quality advisories, unless it’s the sole source of heat for a home.
