MLA Jennifer Rice and Terrace Mayor Carol Leclerc joined members from the Ksan Housing Society and the community in celebration of a new housing unit today.
The congregation gathered in front of the 8 million dollar, 45 unit affordable housing project on Hagland Avenue.
Mayor Carol Leclerc discussed the partnerships that were able to make 250 thousand in grant money from the city available.
The mayor was quick to note that, while a huge step in the right direction, the new unit only represents the start of what is needed.
The building will accept its first intake of tennants in February.
