BC MP Don Davies is calling for a new approach to handling the opioid crisis in the province.
Davies is requesting the federal government launch a criminal investigation in to the conduct of pain-killer manufacturers.
The MP is also calling for changes to the province’s healthcare system that will prevent family from being barred from involvement in the care process of loved ones.
Davies also intends to make opioid manufacturers more accountable financially for the victims of opioid addiction.
